Timber Ridge Golf

Championship golf course in beautiful bath, Michigan

Nestled within a mature tree nursery originally planted in the late 1940s, Timber Ridge Golf Club offers a championship golf experience where natural beauty and inspired design come together in perfect harmony. Towering hardwoods, rolling hills, and tranquil marshlands create a breathtaking landscape that feels both timeless and untouched, providing spectacular views at every turn.

Renowned course architect Jerry Matthews masterfully embraced the property’s unique character, allowing the natural contours of the land to dictate the placement of each hole and the seamless flow of the course. Rather than imposing a design upon the landscape, Matthews followed a philosophy that celebrates and preserves the environment, creating a layout that is both challenging and remarkably scenic.

Together with his father, Michigan Golf Hall of Fame inductee W. Bruce Matthews, Jerry helped pioneer environmentally responsible golf course design throughout Michigan, earning widespread acclaim for courses that respect and enhance the natural terrain. Timber Ridge stands as a lasting testament to their shared vision, decades of experience, and unparalleled craftsmanship—delivering an unforgettable championship golf experience that is as beautiful as it is rewarding to play.
