The front nine culminates with one of Hawk Hollow’s signature—and most formidable—holes: a demanding par 4 where a confident tee shot is required to carry past a lake guarding nearly the entire left side of the fairway. The challenge continues with a deep, elevated putting surface protected by bunkers on both the front left and right, leaving little margin for error. Having a couple drinks on the porch on a summer day and being able to watch groups take on 18 is always fun. One of the best practice areas in the area.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Hawk Hollow (1-18) is a remarkably well designed, routed, and maintained golf course.  It challenges golfers to produce a variety of shots. Each hole is unique, so one never feels like the architect cheated to sneak in any easy hole. The tee boxes present fair opportunities to  score based on one's handicap and skill. For an area of Michigan that has several excellent golf courses, Hawk Hollow may actually be the best.

Very nice Champion golf course! Practice putting green right by the club house. Mini golf course was packed for Father's Day celebration all afternoon! Well maintained course and incredibly close to East Lansing Spartan campus. Highly recommend capitol city Golfing location.

If you want to hit a golf ball farther, with greater accuracy and consistency, then I would highly recommend taking a lesson from Dan Hurlbutt at Hawk Hollow Golf Course in Bath, MI. Greens were immaculate and ran as smooth as marble. You can clearly tell that the superintendent takes great pride in keeping that course in the shape it was in. In my opinion,  it's layout is equally as good as Eagle Eye across the street. Keep up the great work Hawk Hollow!

Greens were awesome, in fact fairways and tea boxes were also in exceptional shape. This was a very good-looking course. From the drive into the clubhouse to the practice area they have an exceptionally inviting look about it with a white fencing all the way through, giving a very rural but farm like atmosphere. This course has 27 holes, and 18 hole and a 9 hole and also a putting course for the kids and families. I would put this one on your list of must-dos
